2nd Annual Indigenous Innovation Summit

Building Indigenous Innovation Through Research, Partnerships, and Action

Luminary invites expressions of interest from speakers, panellists, facilitators, researchers, Indigenous leaders, practitioners, Economic Development Corporations (EDCs), students, and collaborators to participate in the 2nd Annual Indigenous Innovation Summit.

Luminary is an Indigenous-led innovation initiative connecting academic institutions and research organizations with Indigenous communities, businesses, and economic development organizations. Supported through Indigenous Works, Luminary strengthens Indigenous research, innovation, and economic collaboration through Indigenous-led partnerships, knowledge mobilization, and systems transformation initiatives.

The Summit brings together Indigenous business and community leaders, business schools, researchers, industry, government, and partners to advance Indigenous-led innovation and strengthen a shared ecosystem rooted in Indigenous knowledge, economic self-determination, and community well-being.

Speaker Requirement
All proposed sessions must include an Indigenous partner, co-presenter, collaborator, or Indigenous organization actively involved in the work being presented.

Travel
Presenters are responsible for travel costs. Reduced registration rates are available for all speakers, and travel support opportunities may be available for special circumstances.
