Leadership Actions

Leadership Actions

We support the charter values and principles that will guide us as we strive to advance the Indigenous Innovation Eco-System.

We support and promote Luminary’s vision, mission and programs. Our Charter Commitment is an action that we can recognize in our Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action and in the National Indigenous Economic Strategy Calls to Prosperity.

Will actively promote the charter to our faculty, staff, instructors and students and encourage their participation in the charter programs and activities.

We will showcase and promote the Luminary Charter for Change Partner Program in appropriate mediums such as our website, annual reports, and public speaking events to increase the awareness among our internal and external audiences.

We will provide input, feedback and advice on emerging issues and opportunities.

We wish to make a meaningful commitment and play a role towards the principle of two-eyed seeing, respecting the values of Indigenous and Western ways of knowing and doing that can benefit everyone.

Our Leadership is committed. The Dean and at least one or two additional leaders are signatories to the charter and will be active contacts for Luminary communication and programming updates.
